REQUIRED ROTATIONS
Year-long 1 day per week rotation at Frontier Behavioral Health for Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Year-long 1 day per week rotation in Psychiatry Specialty Clinic at Spokane Teaching Health Clinic (STHC)
Year-long ½ day per week of collaborative care consults.
Year-long ½ day per week of rural Telepsychiatry
Year-long 1 day per week longitudinal psychotherapy clinic with 1/2 day at Gonzaga University and 1/2 day at STHC
Year-long 1/2 day per week Addiction Psychiatry at STHC
Half-day didactic teaching per week

PGY4

REQUIRED ROTATIONS
Year-long ½ day per week rotation at Washington State University Continuity Therapy Clinic
Year-long 1 day per week rotation in psychiatry specialty clinic at STHC
Optional 6 month 1/2 day per week of collaborative care consultation
Year-long 1/2 day per week Addiction Psychotherapy at VAMC Substance Abuse Treatment Program (SATP)
Psychiatry – Inpatient Forensics – ESH
2-4 weeks
Required Junior Attending rotation at a variety of sites and settings including ambulatory, inpatient and consult liaison psychiatry
Twelve 4-week blocks of elective time: 2-2 ½ total days per week
Half-day didactic teaching per week

  • Junior Attending – Inpatient, consult liaison psychiatry or clinic psychiatry elective
  • Pediatric Neuro-developmental clinic
    • ½ to full day elective per week for 2-3 months
  • Sleep medicine
    • ½ day longitudinal 2-3 month elective
  • Curriculum development and teaching Elective
    • ½ day a week for a variable rotation duration, expected to develop a curriculum for implementation at the end of the elective, and to teach at least 3 didactic sessions
  • Advanced Motivational Interviewing Elective
  • Spokane Treatment Solutions Addiction Treatment Clinic - MAT, including methadone, psychotherapy
  • Advanced QI/Scholarly work elective
  • Sports medicine psychiatry elective
  • Yale Science of wellbeing coursera elective
  • Away elective at Bartlett Medical Center, Juneau, Alaska
  • VAMC Addiction group process therapy elective
  • VAMC TBI elective
  • Emergency psychiatry hospitalist elective
  • Severe heart disease (include cardiac transplant, LVAD and heart failure) psychiatry consultation liaison clinic
  • Juvenile Detention Child and Adolescent Consultation.
  • A variety of psychotherapy electives (ISTDP, ACT, DBT, Group, Harm Reduction)
